La Casa Cubo is the hand crafted Torquay home of us, Libby and Anna.

Back in 2020 (remember that delightful time in history?) we were told by Anna’s mum about an aged 80’s brick that was up for sale just around the corner from us.

Although discarded and overgrown, she sang a siren song of promises. We both instantly could see the sublime and enchanting world we would be able to create for ourselves here by the water.

So, unwanted by anyone else we bought it, and started work.

Our friends would describe us as a creative, adventurous, nature loving combination - we keenly understand the delight and awe of living in and experiencing places that are beautiful and different as well as a garden’s joyful effect on our nervous systems and mood.

Done sustainably with found and recycled materials, items collected through our lifetimes and special things splurged on (cos you have to sometimes right?) La Casa Cubo has been soulfully crafted to nurture all who enter her gate, and choose to rest in her arms.

A stay in the garden Casita is bookable now with the Apartment in the sky opening to guests later in 2025.
